A designer at Gearbox has confirmed on the studio’s official forums that a third downloadable content pack is on the way, finally raising player level cap above level 50.
As a huge fan of Borderlands this is great news, an increase to the level cap is something I’ve been anticipating for a while now. I thought the game began to lose some of it’s charm and appeal once there was a lack of character progression. I just hope the new content is more like The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned, which served up a fairly sizeable new area for us to explore - rather than the arena based Mad Moxxie’s Underdome Riot which was a huge disappointment for me.
