While The Witcher focuses on Henry Cavill’s brooding outcast mutant mercenary (sounds like one heck of a Ninja Turtles spinoff) Geralt of Rivia, the upcoming prequel series titled The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will explore the adventures lived by Geralt’s mentor and father figure, Vesemir. According to Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who created the Witcher series and serves as showrunner for both the live-action and animated series, this will help viewers not only understand Geralt better, but will also give them a glimpse into how the world got the way it is, and how Vesemir figures into it all....

Squid Game: The Challenge is described as the “biggest reality competition series ever” and is based on the hugely successful Korean series about a group of people in severe financial hardship who risk their lives to play a series of deadly children’s games for a cash prize. Ana, or Annie as she was called in the anime, gets a much larger role in the Netflix version. Annie only appeared twice in the anime. Ein could also be called a main character although he is just a dog. It’s hard to get something like that wrong....

The last game released in the US was Tales of Vesperia for next-gen consoles. Considering it’s been a two year period between then and now, it’s a safe bet the game would be close to completion by now and Namco is merely waiting for the right time to announce it. Apex Legends is a futuristic first-person shooter set in the same universe as Titanfall and developed by Respawn Entertainment. In 2013, WB Montreal released Arkham Origins, a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady. WB Montreal was then trusted to develop the four story DLC packs for Arkham Knight centering around Batgirl, the Red Hood, Harley Quinn and Scaecrow. As early as December of 2018, WB Montreal began teasing another Batman game, seemingly centered on the Court of Owls. A relatively new addition to Batman’s villain gallery, The Court of Owls was introduced in 2011 as part of the New 52 reboot of the DC Universe and are a secret society consisting of Gotham’s rich and powerful that pull the strings behind the scenes....

This new unnamed title was briefly teased in screenshot form, a screenshot that had a much more military focus, and now a new trailer has been released that further reaffirms that sensibility. This new Borderlands 3 event, dubbed the Rare Chest Riches Event, is set to launch today, January 30, by 3pm PST, and it is all about improving the game’s Rare Chests.
