Earlier this week, a series of short teaser clips were released by the Stranger Things production. While they don’t reveal much about how the story will continue from the third season, they do hint at dark times to come; especially for Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven. A minute-long preview entitled “Eleven, are you listening?” appears to reveal the existence of more supernatural children similar to Eleven, which could indicate that the fourth season will be more heavily focused on the telepath’s origins....

[HTML1] After teasing the reveal of Battlefield 4 for several weeks through the game’s official website, Electronic Arts and DICE have finally pulled the curtain off of the fourth installment. The destructible environments, various vehicles (be them land, sea, or air), and gorgeous visuals that fans have come to expect from the series are all present and accounted for, but it’s evident by the new 17 minute gameplay video that there have been some major overhauls to the game — all of which look to be for the better....

In its latest Misinformation Monitor report covering the month of December, NewsGuard found that nearly 9.5 percent of all U.S. engagement with news platforms operating on social media involved sources in the company’s ‘red’ category. NewsGuard reserves this designation for a site that “generally fails to meet basic standards of credibility and transparency.” This constitutes an increase of 20 percent over November. Americans were also more likely to engage with dubious sources on social media—which includes Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest—than residents of other countries....

Twitter user Cyra took notice of the similarities between the two intergalactic characters. The villain from the popular television and film franchise is Trakeena, the daughter of the evil alien Scorpius, who has fought against the Power Rangers on multiple occasions. Dragon Age: Origins showed fans that a character’s backstory may be interesting, but in the end, a character’s feelings or motivations had little impact on their ability to hand out rage and bloodthirsty limb-removal. With Aveline Vallen’s addition to the already revealed cast of characters, it’s clear that BioWare is ramping up the moral ambiguity and gray areas the first game employed so well. In a role-playing game, nothing can break the illusion of that fantasy like flat, uninteresting characters who are little more than their particular class of fighter....

The last batch of Elder Scrolls 5 screenshots gave us a look at some of the armor sets the protagonist can wear on his/her journey, but these brand new Skyrim screenshots show us the other species players will meet in the game. Today Bethesda has released a new set of images, revealing what some of the franchise’s playable races look like in the latest Elder Scrolls game as well as some of the NPC enemies you’ll battle in the Skyrim wilderness....
